Overview
The Flinders One Student Assist office welcomes International students, providing counselling, advocacy, support, assistance, information and referral on many issues that affect the lives of students and issues that may be unique to their own particular situation.
Our student Employment office also assists many international students find work while they are studying here, and can direct them to information on Visa and other work requirements.

Living & Working in Australia
You want to enjoy the time you spend in Australia whilst studying. There is a lot of information to take in and this can be very stressful. The Student Assist + Employment office is available to help if you need to speak to somebody.
Please note, the maximum hours you are allowed to engage in paid employment during Semester time is 20 hours per week, but is unlimited during Semester breaks. However, it is important to find the right balance of study/work/life commitments to ensure success in your studies.
